Angela Page filled in for me on The Gumbo Shop on Thursday, April 7, when I was marooned at my house because the flood washed out my road.
She began her theme (floods) on The Gumbo Show and continued the theme on Folk Plus. So I decided to continue that tradition when I filled in for her.

THEME: ONGOING OUTRAGE on Many Levels. I've been feeling barely controlled outrage for quite a long time at so much that's going on:
            The War and the Continuing Misuse and Abuse of the Troops and Their Families;
            Destruction of Freedom, Civil Liberties, Justice, Democracy;
            Continuing Degradation of the Economy;
            Blatant Conversion to a Government of, by, and for the Corporations;
            Global Privatization of Resources and Cooptation of People's Lives and Very Being;
            Destruction of the Planet;
            Greed on All Levels;
            Ultra Right-Wing Fanatical Fundamentalist Religious Intolerance Rampant Worldwide;
            New Nuclear Offensives by the Bush Administration;
            Blatant Bleep-you-all Mega-Imperialist Stance of this Country;
            Dangerous Hate-Mongering and Hate-Action Against Gays, Lesbians, Bisexuals, Transgendered People, Women, and Progressives on all Fronts
            Anti Social Security Bush Offensive;
            Health Care Disaster;
            Media Destruction;
            Lies, Lies, Lies, Disinformation, Endless Intentional Brainwashing;
            Intentional Massive Perversion of Language and Truth

We should no longer accept the counsel of those who tell us that we must fill our world with poisonous chemicals, we
should look around and see what other course is open to us."        Rachel Carson
