Folk Plus is hosted and planned by Angela Page and airs Saturdays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on WJFF, at 90.5 fm in Jeffersonville, N.Y. and 94.5 in Monticello N.Y. I announced that I was calling the show "more nostalgia" having played a show last week concernging whose shoulders the current folk scene stands. Today's show leaned a bit more to the pop side. I invited folks to play "I can name that tune in a few seconds" with those in the same room. And they caleld to say they did. They also called to suggest renaming the show. Their comments are below.
Many of these cuts came from a Time Life Compilation, which I bought late at night in a week moment long ago, and never did use until today.
Now I'm glad I did, since many called to ask about it.
