Folk Plus is a lyrically-based, themed folk show. There could be bits of Broadway, spoken work or oldies included, that that is the Plus part. The show is hosted and planned by Angela Page and airs Saturdays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on WJFF, at 90.5 fm in Jeffersonville, N.Y. and 94.5 in Monticello N.Y. in a chemical and fragrance-free space. Fishing season opens in Roscoe, just a few miles north.  
 Today was the Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum First Cast Ceremony at Junction Pool, Roscoe NY just a few minutes north is the place for the ceremonial first cast opening of the 2008 trout season, was  7:30AM at Junction Pool, Roscoe NY. Hosts Ed and Judy Van Put will share the stream with NYS DEC Commissioner, Pete Grannis.
Flies are ceremoniously cast into the cold waters at Junction Pool, the confluence of the hallowed Willowemoc Creek and Beaverkill River that are joined and create the Big Beaverkill River, considered the birthplace of American Fly Fishing.

Obi-Wan first appears in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, seemingly a mysterious hermit. He is revealed as a Jedi Master, who then tutors Luke Skywalker to use the Force. In the prequel films, he appears as a young Jedi, progressing from apprentice to master.

Ashcroft had grown tired of giving briefings at the US Justice Department in front of two naked statues, one known as "Minnie Lou". As a result, he has now ordered that tasteful curtains be used to cover the offending anatomical feature  According to a report on ABC Television, Mr Ashcroft had drapes installed at a cost of more than $8,000. Ashcroft's officials claim it was  done for "aesthetic purposes" but no one from the Justice Department was available for comment. A Paxton song on the same story a bit later on.
