We are Hydro-Powered Public Radio, run mostly by volunteers and funded by members.

THANKS SO MUCH to the station management fo accommodating  my health issues which allow me to continue to volunteer Saturday mornings and bring you the music that 'moves and sustains me. ' They maintain a chemical and fragrance free environment.

Money has been in the news, heavily all week. Comments range from having an economy as  fundamentally strong, just having a hangover or the worst since the great depression.

Jeff is solidly rooted in the tradition. His parents, Frank and Anna Warner, were collectors in the 1940s and 1950s in the tradition of the Lomaxes, so he grew up hearing the music and meeting source musicians from many parts of the country.
