Saturday March 20, 2010:
20th Anniversary Fund Raiser Nostaligic show

Folk Plus is a blend of contemporary and older singer songwriters with perhaps spoken word or Broadway tunes, or whatever may be relevant to the theme.  The station's website and stream are online at WWW.WJFFRADIO.ORG

Angela thanks the staff of WJFF for making it possioble for her to volunteer Saturday mornings by
accommodating her health issues and maintaining a chemical and fragrance free environment,

February 12 1990 we went on the air for the first time. Our current on air pledge drive started last Thursday, March 18.  We're calling it our "Plus Twenty" Pledge Drive in honor of our Twentieth Anniversary, and twenty years of your support.  Our hope is that you will consider adding $20 to your regular pledge to keep able to pay bills and staying on air and commercial-free. You can click our "Yes! I'll Pledge" button on our website, or listen these two hours and call in. If you would consider a regular suggested plege of forty dollars, you will be offered a choice of popular and quality singer songwriters/musicians as a thank you - consider it your birthday present.

Today's show included a retrospective of 20 years of old promos and blasts from the pas. Folk Plus began with three rotating DJS around 1993, and finally Angela settled in as the constant DJ for the show coming in saturdays at 11 for many years. Recently she developed chemical intolerance so that she isn't able to come in when anyone is in the studio [a small space] must either leave or be a non fragrant person. Most of the time staff discussed fund drive topics and just the following songs were aired.

Modern Man - Channel sufing - Modern Immaturity - Inverted Turtle
Poozies - Another Train - Celtic Compass - Compass
Phone machine recording of Micheal McNevin promising CD "Sketch"
Rod MacDonald - Every Living Thing - After the War
Christine Lavin - What Was I Thinking - Inner Bitch
Karen Casey - Johnny I Hardly Knew Ya - Ships in the Forest - Compass

Thanks to staff and station management for accommodating Angle'a health issues and maintaining a chemical and fragrance free environment. Complying with these accommodations allow her to continue to volunteer Saturday mornings
